I just finished listening to 2 parts of Bob’s 3-part interview on his life, mental (I mean mental health) issues, and how, over 7 years, he turned himself around.
It’s a whole different side of Bob – intelligent, articulate, coherent, and very informative. It also makes me reflect on some of our past “Bob” situations and explains a lot I didn’t know about, because Bob couldn’t explain himself at that time.
I’m going to have Barbie listen, as there are many parallels for her clients: you think you’re fat and can’t lose weight – you think you have problems – just listen to what Bob does every day and how he makes mental health a life-long discipline. It’s the same approach that the sub-group of her clients who whine, “wine” way too much, complain, and who can’t lose weight have to understand. It’s a multi-faceted life-long approach that requires focus, discipline and practice. Bob explains it well.
And there are parallels for all of us to use here.
I still need to listen to part 3, but am really impressed, heart warmed, and very, very happy for Bob.
Warm, funny and poignant – this guy rocked “Spirits Comedy” on the #bellletstalk night – the only true mental health comedy gladiator! Bob is the last two chapters in our latest book of Different From the Other Kids!
Bobby Koven is a one-of-a-kind entertainer and speaker! Definitely a little “Krazy” indeed! But Bobby speaks from the heart about a lot of serious and real issues that affect us all. Bobby is a leader in the field of mental health and comedy.
After hearing “Bobby” s first Different From Other Kids interview I was captivated by this fascinating, adaptive, creative, coherent and highly perceptive guy whom I absolutely had to meet. Then I remembered he’s been my good friend most of our lives . all me lucky.
I consider myself very fortunate to have met Bob over 30 years ago. He is definitely one of a kind. In addition to being a courageous and very sweet guy, he has been a caring friend throughout the years.
Bob is a natural entertainer – singer, dancer, piano player, comedian, story teller – who has the gift of connecting with people from all walks of life. Krazyafteralltheseyears.com is an amazing and perfect way for Bob to shine more light on the challenges of mental health issues.
Don’t change Bob – you’re a real gem just the way you are. Rock on, Laura
I listened to your pod casts and I really enjoyed listening to another side of you. After all these years (30+) I have only met you at Beaver, (besides our play date in Whistler back in the 80’s) and I always see the pumped up version of you. I didn’t realize you had such a journey to get where you are today.
You have always made me laugh, which we all know is a very powerful medicine. We all have a story, and sharing with compassionate friends make the travels a little lighter.
See you soon, Cindy
Bobby Koven is funny while giving over an important message:
Mental Health is part of life.
A great Motivational speaker, comedian, educator ….. it is an honor to know you Bobby! As a life coach I know it is vital to move through tough issues with humour….and this is what you do!
Wishing you great success in this career. You will help many people laugh and learn.

Bob Koven is “one of a kind”. What is so special about Bob is he will say everything and anything you really want to say but dont have the guts to say it.
I have experienced Bob’s MC act countless times and I don’t think you can find anyone who brings more laughter and joy to the job. I can’t wait to catch his full stand up comedy show.
Bobby K .. your podcast blew me away. You carried yourself like a pro. Like you’ve been on the talk show circuit forever. It’s incredible how you opened up with raw honesty welcoming us all into your inner self. It allowed all of us to see and understand the Kraze thru a totally different lens. You’re on an amazing self-journey that will impact many…. Kudos to your courage !
What can I say. When I see him I know right away there’s going to be a party. Both Bobby and I ski at Beaver Valley Ski Club. Just so you know that I have Down Syndrome. But it does not control me. When I’m with Bobby we talk about mental health and other topics. He is the best guy there is. You rock Bobby!!
Bob Koven is an extraordinarily talented man, who expresses his remarkable genius through zany humor, heartfelt compassion and shockingly clear insight.

ALWAYS KRAZY … ALWAYS KOVEN … ALWAYS BOBBY!!!
The reason he has so many enduring & endearing friendships!
Motivational spaker, comedian, educator and one heck of a nice guy. ‘Krazy’ Bob is as authentic as it gets and the life of any party. Jeffrey F.
